Our Smokehouse is located at the most Easterly point in Britain (Ness Point) It is 150 years old and was one of 88 smokehouses in the town of Lowestoft in the latter part of the 19th Century.
We have four brick kilns lined with the character of "50,000 smokes". Most of our products are gently smoked over Oak shavings and dust from Thetford Forest in Norfolk.
The flavour of our products is unique, even other smokehouses in the area produce different tasting products which is all part of the technique of traditional smoking.
Re licensed in 2011 our smokehouse now produces a wide range of products, and more recently we have extended our range to include Meats, Game, Cheese and Mediterranean products like Olives, Garlic and Peppers.
Our ethos is simple, we use "traditional techniques to produce modern foods". We offer products nationally through well regarded fish suppliers, direct to the public, selected supermarkets, local outlets, restaurants and hotels as well as local traders who have real pride in the products they sell.
